About us

We are beach volleyball team Jan Hadrava and Přemysl Kubala and together we go by the name SMASH Team. We began competing together in 2014. That year we won the Czech Championship. Since then we’ve won the 3rd round of Olympic qualification in 2015 and have now advanced directly to the final round of qualification which will take place in 2016. Our goal is to qualify for the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016.

In my free time I like to spend time with my children Jakub (23) and Terezka (14). To relax I often go to a café or to a cinema to see movie.
I also enjoy making and editing videos.

Jan Hadrava

My hobbies include playing video games (Call of duty, Batman and Civilization). I like to watch Star Wars and Batman films. During my free time I like to listen a music of every genre, but my favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I also enjoy David Guetta.

I like to watch and follow all sports, mainly basketball (NBA) and american football (NFL). My favorite book is Steve Jobs and some war encyclopedias.

I’m a calm person but I hate to lose. I’m extremely competitive.
